BlackBridge Geomatics kicks off distributorship with DigitalGlobe
November 1, 2011 - BlackBridge Geomatics, (Lethbridge, Alberta) Canada’s leading supplier of optical satellite imagery recently entered into a distribution agreement with DigitalGlobe (Longmont, Colorado). Through this agreement BlackBridge now resells products from DigitalGlobe’s WorldView-1, WorldView-2, and QuickBird satellites. The high resolution DigitalGlobe satellites complement BlackBridge’ existing geo-imagery portfolio, and are a welcome addition to the company’s line of products and services.
BlackBridge Group Acquires Assets of RapidEye AG
September 1, 2011 - RapidEye Canada Ltd., an affiliate of BlackBridge Geomatics Corp., the leading supplier of optical satellite imagery in Canada, announced today that it has acquired the assets RapidEye AG of Brandenburg an der Havel, Germany, a global provider of high-resolution imagery and geospatial solutions. BlackBridge Geomatics helps farmers determine how much land is under water
April 19, 2011 - In response to significant moisture and flooding in parts of southern Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, BlackBridge is once again providing custom mapping services to land owners. In previous years these maps have been used to quickly provide up to date information in order to develop ongoing farming plans, and more accurately map and assess land affected by excess moisture.
